Fire Doors in Selston
Clear, well-prepared fire door quotes for repairs, remedials and replacement in Selston — starting with what to send us.
Selston is a village in Ashfield District, Nottinghamshire, close to the Derbyshire border and our base in Tibshelf.
Most delays on small fire door jobs come from missing information rather than the work itself. This page sets out what helps us quote repairs, remedials or replacement accurately first time.
What To Send With Your Enquiry
The most useful starting point is your fire risk assessment or fire door report, or just the door-related actions from it. Photos of each door — both faces, the edges, the hinges and any label or plug on the top edge or hinge side — help us judge whether repair is realistic.
Tell us how many doors are involved, whether the building is occupied, and any access limits. You can attach up to three files to the enquiry form.
- Action list or report extract
- Photos of both faces, edges and hinges
- Door count, occupancy and access notes
Repair, Upgrade Or Replace
From that information we can usually tell whether a door looks repairable — closers, seals, gaps, hinges — or whether replacement is likely. Where it is unclear, a pre-works site assessment confirms the scope before a firm price.
Formal fire door inspection reports are arranged through our specialist fire door inspection partner; our own site assessment scopes the works only.
