Fire Doors in Boughton
Fire door repairs and replacement in Boughton for HMOs, shared houses and rented homes.
Parsec Fire Doors covers Boughton in the Newark and Sherwood district area of Nottinghamshire from our base in Tibshelf, Derbyshire. We repair suitable existing fire doors and install replacement doorsets where repair is not the right route.
If you let a house in multiple occupation and your fire risk assessment lists door actions, send us the action list and we will price each door and agree access with you and your tenants.
Rented houses and HMOs in Boughton
In a shared house, bedroom, kitchen and escape-route doors are often the ones listed in a landlord's fire risk assessment. We can repair suitable doors, fit or adjust closers where specified, and replace doorsets where repair is not viable, working around tenants.
Repair or replacement
For each door in Boughton we look at the leaf, frame, seals, hinges, closer and latching, together with any evidence of the doorset's specification. The required fire performance is confirmed for the opening and building from the fire risk assessment, specification or building information. It is never assumed from the town or the property type.
Inspections and requesting a quotation
Our pre-works site assessment confirms the scope of repairs or replacement. It is not a formal fire door inspection report. If you need a formal report, we can arrange an inspection through a specialist external fire door inspection contractor.
To request a quotation, send us the property address, the number of rooms, the FRA action list and tenant access arrangements. You can attach a report or FRA action list securely through the enquiry form.
